I had hoped to post the time that I would be playing in the semfinals today, but, I found out last night that I was not selected for the next round. I was disappointed but not entirely surprised. The first two pieces that I performed, Granados’ Mazurka and Bridge’s The Dew Fairy went very well but I stumbled several times in my last piece, movement one of Prokofiev’s 7th piano sonata.

I will take what I learned to the 7th Washington Piano Artist’s competition in July and hope for better results!


I perform in the preliminary round of the Fifth Boston International Piano Competition on Friday night at 7:45pm. All competition rounds will take place in the auditorium of the Sorensen Center for the Arts at Babson CollegeThe semifinals take place on Saturday and the finals take place on Sunday.
